Moved in to the new shop and what engine is the first one to be built. TOYOTA JZ with a ft 550 fueltech 😁

VW Polo came in for some work.When it came in it already had the 2liter 16 valve engine in and golf 5 gti 6 speed gearbox. We built a custom built intake fuel rail,stainless steel Exhaust front to back, gearbox mount (side winder turbo manifold) aluminium induction and boost pipes, oil breather system. When done it is going to be real nice pocket rocket

2jz and 1jz. We did so many JZ engines and builds in the last couple of years. Big thanks to Performance for the great head work and Racing for the great tuning and for the proper Wastgates. Some of the old Builds and some new builds. Some were only engine builds for customers and some engine builds and conversions

We at VDM PERFORMANCE are proud to announce a VDM first 2jz Compound Turbo build and boy are we proud.

The reason for building Compound Turbo was because like everyone knows, one big turbo makes big power but it only starts to boost at 5000 rpm ,so as far as street ability is concerned, it was going to be dreadful.

So we decided to go Compound, not for big boost pressures but to improve on the responsiveness for the street.

Despite the negative feedback from people that have attempted Compound setups before, we set our minds to the task of achieving and improving the Compound setup idea.

Our aim was to only lower the rpm range to reach boost much quicker but we achieved much more.We reached boost @ 3500 RPM and made ridiculous power from Standard 2JZ engine, it made 710hp on 1.4bar boost, so we know when we turn it up, it will give us some big HP figures.

We are super excited to see what a fully build engine will do with this setup.

- Custombuilt V mount radiator and Intercooler
- 50mm xcell wastgate
- 76mm aluminium boost pipe's
- 100mm aluminium cold air induction pipe
- custom 2 inch turbo branch GT42 turbo
- 100mm stainless down pipe and 100mm exhaust
- 50mm wastgate down pipe linking in back in to the exhaust

We did the fabrication not the engine build the engine built by AJ racing Arthur Dyno tuned it and made 334kw and 441Nm at 0.8 bar boost pump fuel.
