Last chance to take part in an Eskom Expo District Expo!
Additional District Expo dates have been added for the Bloemfontein Region in the Free State and the Capricorn Region in Limpopo.
District Expos are a compulsory step for learners who wish to qualify for the upcoming Regional Science Fairs. This is your opportunity to present your research project, receive valuable feedback from judges and selectors, and showcase your innovation.
To participate, learners must:
• Be in Grades 4 to 12 or enrolled in a TVET NC(V) Level 2-4 programme
• Have a completed research project within one of the 13 Eskom Expo categories
• Have all supporting research documentation
• Attend and present their project at their allocated District Expo
Learners who demonstrate substantial progress and present novel, well-developed research ideas may be selected to advance to the Regional Science Fairs.

We successfully concluded our District Expos at Mafolofolo High School following a venue change from Bana Bathari Special School. Learners arrived with their completed research plans and had the opportunity to receive valuable mentorship and evaluation from experts. During the sessions, evaluators identified methodological gaps, provided constructive feedback and innovative ideas, and selected outstanding projects to advance to the upcoming Regional Science Fair.
Congratulations to all participating learners and educators for their dedication and hard work. We look forward to seeing these projects shine at the next level!
