What a special day at our school! 🐾✨

Braaf the Boerboel came to visit us and it was an experience our learners will never forget! We learned a brand new song and dance, and more importantly, we were reminded how to treat one another with kindness and love 💛

Our learners learned that we are all God’s children, and that bullying is never okay. We also spoke about what to do if we see or experience bullying… psssst… we tell our awesome teachers and trusted adults! 🙌

And of course… Braaf didn’t come empty-handed — there were BIG surprises for everyone! 🎁

It was a fun, exciting, and busy day filled with laughter, learning, and lots of happy memories 😊

Who said only the children get to have fun? Our teachers were right there splashing, laughing, and enjoying every moment of this unforgettable, fun-filled day! 😄🌈💙

On the 29th of August 2025, the Goudjie team had the pleasure of taking our learners on an exciting and enriching excursion to the Monkey and Bird Park. The day was filled with fun, laughter, and wonder as the children explored and engaged with nature in a safe and stimulating environment. It was truly a joyful and memorable experience for all the kids!

This excursion was not just a day of fun but also an important part of our commitment to learning and development. The outing provided valuable real world experiences that support the Department of Education’s curriculum by promoting environmental awareness, social development, and curiosity through hands on learning.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our principal, Mr. G. Botes, deputy principles Mr. Theron and Mr. S Botes, the Department of Education, SGB, our dedicated staff, and especially to the parents and guardians for your continued support and trust. A special thank you to each and every person who played a part in making this outing a success. Your efforts are truly appreciated.
