April was a bit of a “no-wind” zone, but the flight didn’t stop. 🌬️🚫
When the breeze stays home, we take the foil-prep to the tiles, the tar, and the glassy water. Foiling is all about that muscle memory.

This day the wind was pretty light and not great for kitesurfing or windsurfing and yet was able to get out, have a session along with this awesome view to make it worthwhile.

So this guy rocks up to Dublin “for a quiet visit”…
Ends up booking a wing lesson like the rest of us mortals.

Zero ego.
Maximum enthusiasm.
Listens hard.
Falls in dramatically (Oscar-worthy, honestly).

Turns out being ridiculously famous does not help when the wing’s upside down and the wind does its own thing 🌬️
Paparazzi? Nope.
Seagulls? Yes. Judging hard.

To be fair though:
👉 Great student
👉 Took feedback
👉 Got flying
👉 Massive grin glued on all session

By the end he’s asking:
“So… same time tomorrow?”

Moral of the story:
You can win awards, but you still have to earn your wing 🤙
