Our Sister Branch is officially open for business!

Very intimate event, but the children (the actual clients😅) came in numbers. All I can say is What a WOW!!!🤩

I spend so much of my time around this time giving free advise to parents who are running around looking for space in Grade 1 or Grade 8 for their children.

That’s a wrap folks!! 2022 was such a fun filled school year!! We are so grateful to all ECD Centre managers/Owners and Primary school principals who invited us over to play.

2023 is going to be even better!! New puppet friends!! New lesson facilitators!! BRAND NEW SCRIPTS!! Oh we just cannot wait!!

Thank to our Teacher Sarah and every Assistant on the team. 🫶

A big big Thank you to all Parents!! Oh we absolutely loved serving you through your children. Edutainment played a big role in their school experience and we were honoured to deliver.

As a family, we are thankful for the blessings spoken over WOW Care Bears Witbank by Rev. Koekoe.

ALSO…Nothing beats the words of encouragement and blessings that comes out of the mouths of our senior citizens. One old white lady came over me and held both my hands and said: “Thank you for all you do for the little children.” I teared up because she sounded so much like my maternal grandmother Nkhono Mathabo. I left her presence felling like God, the angels, those who’ve gone before us, my deceased parents and grandparents are cheering me on👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I am totally physically and mentally drained from setting up this new Centre, but I feel spiritually and emotionally strong to open YET ANOTHER English Medium ECD Centre.

For now…let’s fill this new Centre up!

The new home of WOW Care Bears South ~ 184 Koedoe Road, Fauna, Bloemfontein. We can’t wait for our little friends to come experience this whimsical and child friendly home away from home.

Good day everyone,

Many of our ECD Centres in Town and Heidedal have raised very important service delivery concerns, and The Director of Children in Free State Department of Social Development would like to invite ALL ECD Centres in Town and Heidedal that fall under Ms. Shaloom Bann to attend this meeting.

Please avail yourselves so that you can come to finally personally raise your issues with the Free State Provincial Government, and for The Director of Children to give a way forward. This is a list of issues raised which will be on the Agenda:

1. ECD Centre Registration/Vangasali
2. Migration to Education
3. Training of Grade R Teachers
4. NCF Training
5. Training Organizations and ECD Organizations
6. ECD Social Worker Role Clarification
7. COVID-19 relief and Stimulus Funds
8. DSD & Education Communication Channels
9. Municipality Zoning
10. POPI Act

Meeting will be held on Tuesday 24th August 2021. Registration will start at 5pm, and the meeting should take 2 hours. The people who sign the registers will be given to all government departments that work with ECD Centres or Crèches and Playgroups.

Please attend so that you may be known by all relevant departments.

Baie van die ECD sentrums in die Stad en Heidedal het al vir n geruime tyd hul furstrasies en bekommernisse met ons gedeel en daarom is hierdie die geleentheid waar u persoonlik kan kom luister na Mnr Tladi en u ongelukkighede met hom deel. Van die punte wat aangeraak gaan word is:

On our EduHope Africa Foundation and CRC Crèches for Africa records, we have 151 ECD Centres and 13 in Heidedal, as well as 10 ECD Programs. Please share this message with those you know so that we do not miss those Unknown and Unregistered in the ECD space.

Also kindly share this post on your social media pages, with local radio stations, newspapers, counsilors, Neighborhood Watch groups and churches in Bloemfontein Town (Not Townships), to ensure that we don’t miss ANYONE.

On behalf of the thousands of ECD Centres and Programs that will be FINALLY registered with the Department of Social Development and Department of Basic Education South Africa, with the help of www.eduhopeafrica.org, we would like to thank Ps. At Boshoff and Ps. Nyretta Boshoff-Gibbons of CRC Church for ALWAYS opening their church doors for the those in need, those neglected, the poor, the victimized, and the vulnerable, especially in these very difficult COVID-19 times.

This is indeed history in the making, because some of these ECD Centres And programs have been battling to register for 20, 10 years. Some of these private Centres have had to pay companies and ECD organizations up to R20 000.00 trying to comply, in order to register their ECD Centres and programs, but they are still NOT REGISTERED.

In Free State Motheo District, have 1 ECD Social Worker in Bloemfontein responsible for registering ALL Centres and Programs in Town and Heidedal, it does NOT make sense at all. We are grateful that EduHope Africa Foundation, WOW Care Bears, and CRC Church Crèches for Africa have raised their hands to support ECD Centres and Programs to comply.

We will leave no stone unturned until ALL ECD Centres and ECD Programs in Free State are known AND SERVICED by Free State Provincial Government, Free State Department of Education and Free State Department of Social Development through the Vangasali initiative by the Nelson Mandela Foundation.

*THE RACIAL DIVISION IN THE ECD SECTOR CAUSED BY OUR GOVERNMENT MUST END!!!
*THE CHILDREN’s ACT IS FOR ALL CHILDREN!!!
*REGISTRATION OF CHILDREN IN ALL ECD PROGRAMS IS A RIGHT!!!
