*DON'T LOOK BACK*

*Genesis 19[26] But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.*

Being in Christ means you have a new life and the old one is gonez you will have to live differently than you used to. However, this doesn't mean you will wake up tomorrow a perfect person, perfection is unattainable in this lifetime. But anyone who is regenerated, filled and being led by the Spirit of God will have new desires to please God and hate sin. This means one will seek to forget the past sinful life and strive towards holiness and pleasing God with the help of the Holy Spirit motivated by the hope of eternity. This is not pushing for legalism but we need to understand that, we do have a role to play in the sanctification journey. It is more like a partnership with God where He works in us to will and act in obedience: *Philippians 2[13] for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.*

This also means that you will have to forget the former things and strive for what's ahead: *Philippians 3[13] Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, [14] I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.* The story of Lot’s wife turning into a pillar of salt reminds us that, we must obey God even when it doesn't make sense. Lot's wife was supposed to obey not look back as instructed by the angel. However, obeying God is only possible when you are born again, submitted to the leading of the Spirit and determined not to turn from your old ways but looking. Lot's wife looked back because she was still in love with the past - Luke 17[32]. You will never be triumphant against sin if you are still in love with its pleasures.

*DO YOU WANT TO KNOW HIM*

*Philippians 3[10] I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death.*

When Paul wrote this letter, he was in prison: *Philippians 1[13] For everyone here, including the whole palace guard, knows that I am in chains because of Christ.* He was persecuted for faithfully preaching the Gospel, yet he didn't complain about his unjust imprisonment but rather was determined to know more of Christ and suffer for Him - *I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death.* This is a big blow to the prosperity gospel which promises them comfort, healthz wealth and the best of life. Knowing more of Christ and walking in His power usually happens in suffering and troubles. However, we must be greatly challenged by the deep hunger Paul had in wanting to know of Christ considering his CV.

Paul was advanced in age, by the grace of God he did so much in establishing churches in many Gentile territories and also received wonderful revelations from God (2 Corinthians 12[7]) but he still wanted to know Christ better and better. Paul was determined to know Christ not just through studying Scriptures but also through experience which were both good and bad but predominantly suffering. When you hunger to know more and more of Christ, you must be prepared to suffer more and more for Him: *2 Timothy 3[12] In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.* But we are a generation that doesn't want to suffer hence following charlatans promising people what Christ never promised - John 16[33].

Today I’m going to share on The authority of the sons

The word authority in the Greek language is the word exousia which means capacity, mastery ,token of control and delegated influence.
The power given by God to the sons to carry out their missions is known as the authority of the sons. During his earthly time Christ demonstrated his authority over nature, demons, and the circumstances of life. After his resurrection, he possessed all authority in heaven and on earth.
Mat 28:19 “ And Jesus came and said to them, “all authority in heaven and earth has been given to me”

The sons of God have the same authority Jesus had while on earth. What is known as the ‘great commission’ was also the transfer of authority from Jesus to his disciples and by extension to all who believe in him through the preaching of the gospel. Authority was given to the sons to bring the nations to the saving knowledge of Christ. This commission includes world evangelism, discipleship and baptism.
We have the authority to bring the gospel to nations without fear and excuses. As we embark on this assignment, heaven will back us and confirm the preaching of the gospel through signs and wonders. The primary wat of exercising authority is through again our speech as stated in mark 11:12-14 and 20-24. Christ demonstrated his authority through his words and the tree obeyed him. It is important to note that Jesus did not ask the tree to dry up rather he commanded that it should not again bear fruit and the tree eventually withered away. The purpose of a tree is to bear fruit and without this purpose death is inevitable. Similarly the purpose of the sons of God is to bring the kingdom of God to the earth by exercising dominion and authority. I’d this purpose is not fulfilled, then the sons have no reason for existence.
When you feel your heart with the word of God, you enhance your authority because speaking the word of God is a manifestation of authority.
In Matthew 12:35-37 the Greek word translated as ‘idle’ is Argos which means inactive, unemployed, barren, or useless. On the other hand, logos means ‘Devine expression’ or the word of God. Angels do not recognise Argos because Argos are purposeless and angels only respond to the sound of the logos.
Therefore as sons of God, we are entitled to speak the logos and not the Argos. Our authority as the children of God is only deployed through the logos

REMISSION

Hello, I’m Pastor Vitalis

I greet you all saints of God who are across the world in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Today l am going to share about Remission, Remission is the same as saying forgiveness.
Forgiveness is based upon Christ's death like in Matthew 26:28 that says: This is my blood of the covenant which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Like in Acts 10:43 Remission is based upon Faith in Christ, Acts 10:43 says: All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
It is based upon Repentance like in Mark 1:4 that says: And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
The Importance of Forgiveness is that it shows God's righteousness like in Romans 3:23-26, l will read verse 26 that says: he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
Like in Luke 1:77 the importance of forgiveness makes Salvation real. Luke 1:77 says: to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgivenesss of their sins,
Finally the importance of forgiveness must be preached like in Luke 24:47 that says: and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Through the forgiveness of God to us all that he brought Jesus Christ to die for our sins, l am saved in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Amen.

Good evening beloved of God. I’m going to share little on power of vision

As believers our steps are guided by our sight and surely you can’t go where you don’t see. I want to remind you the promises of God are real and if you can’t see them, you can’t get them.
As children of God just want to tell you it’s not about reading the scriptures but we need to see them. In the story of Jairus daughter Christ had a different view people saw death and Christ saw life. That’s the power of vision praise the Lord.
When God says see, you need to close your physical eyes and open spiritual eyes Gen 15:5. He took him outside and said, "Look up at the sky and count the starsif indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be." Know that physical sight connects to physical knowledge.

Goliath was short in the spirit and David was big in the spirit. How you see a challenge before you matters if you see it like a mountain you will surely fail to climb it. Most believers see negative and that leads them to defeat. You need to realise you are big in the spirit and greater is He who is in you than the one in the world hallelujah. When you see lots of problems as a child of God then know you are still short in the spirit. Joshua 6 God told Joshua see I have given you Jericho but by mere looking it did not make sense and even the promises that God did to Abraham, he could not see as he had no child and God had to bring the issue to something Abraham could relate to.

So my fellow brothers and sisters just know your sight governs your future dream big and desire whatever and surely nothing will stop you continue visualising it in the spirit and always speak positive words even it seem dead end
