This is a (much shortened) version of the wonderful things that an International Agricultural Academy for Africa (i3A) student, Carl Nel, had to say about our course. All students at i3A do this course, better known to them as 'the Nature of Thought module' as part of their induction, as i3A really do put the wellbeing of their students first.

Well done to you, Carl, for having seen something that will help better your life in so many wonderful ways 🙂

Om die gaping tussen tegniese boerdery-vaardighede en die geestes welstand van ’n boer te oorbrug, is presies wat die moderne landbou nodig het!

Dit was ’n voorreg om die afgelope paar dae, in samewerking met International Agricultural Academy for Africa, die "Nature of Thought"-kursus by die Vrystaat Landboukollege (VSLK) aan te bied.

VSLK, nes ons, glo dat landbou-vaardighede slegs die helfte van die wenresep is. Sonder ’n begrip van hoe ons ervaring van die lewe oomblik-tot-oomblik gevorm word, is ware sukses moeilik om te behou. Ons het die eerste semester studente (en die kampuspersoneel!) begelei om hul eie ingebore veerkragtigheid en geestesgesondheid te herontdek.

Die terugvoer was werklik positief en bevestig net weer: wanneer ’n boer se kop reg staan, volg die res van die plaas. 🌾

Ons was hierdie week in MP by die nuut gestigde Agri Innovasie Kollege. Daar het ons vir die laaste 3 dae met die wonderlikste studente en personeel International Agricultural Academy for Africa se Nature of Thought program gedeel, en die terugvoer is fantasties 🥳 Ons weet hierdie spesiale klomp mense het 'n boodskap van hoop gehoor wat hulle gaan help om nóg vinniger by hulle doelwitte uit te kom, en ons sien saam met hulle uit na 'n blink toekoms! Baie dankie vir julle tyd en deelname!
