GOLF

Congratulations to the Grey boys (Kyle Flanegan, Schalk Pieterse, Zander Sirgel, and Ben Blair) who won the A-Division of the School League Final. Grey College will be representing the Free State at the SA Schools Championship in August.

A special congratulations to WJ Oosthuizen (Gross Final and Net Order of Merit Winner) and Gerhard Boshoff (Order of Merit B-Division Winner) on their exceptional individual achievements.

We wish all our players every success as they prepare to compete against the best school golfers in South Africa.

Baie geluk aan die Grey-seuns (Kyle Flanegan, Schalk Pieterse, Zander Sirgel en Ben Blair) wat die A-afdeling van die Skoleliga-eindstryd gewen het. Grey Kollege gaan die Vrystaat in Augustus by die SA Skolekampioenskap verteenwoordig.

INSPIRATION

Wilco de Villiers (Grade 12) has shown true Grey spirit by going the extra mile to raise funds for a beloved teacher at the primary school, Mrs. Karen du Plessis.

Mrs. du Plessis lives with a rare genetic lung condition, relies on oxygen 24/7 to teach, and is awaiting a major lung transplant in Cape Town. We would like to thank Wilco for supporting Mrs. du Plessis on her journey and wish her a successful recovery.
