Our Story
Jooba is all about giving you a place to learn music that is fun, patient, and excellent. Here you will learn to make the music that you love and grow to your talents to their fullest potential.
Jooba started in 2010 as Jaco Uys just giving private guitar lessons under the name AfroUys. :) Then a few years after that Egon Bramley joined me and we launched the Guitar Guys. We had a couple of awesome years teaching together! 2 Years ago I decided to start a full blown music school and go with the name Jooba, meaning: “Make music with Joy” Our Vision is to become one of the largest and most fun music schools in the country.
