10/02/2026

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform the Dokkies community of the passing of one of our learners, Teboho Meko, a Grade 10 learner.

Teboho’s passing has left a profound void in our school family. Our thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, classmates, and educators during this incredibly difficult time.

As a school community, we stand together in love and support, holding one another close as we mourn this loss.

πŸ“– β€œHe will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.”
Revelation 21:4

πŸ•ŠοΈ Rest in peace, Teboho. You will always be remembered.

World read aloud day at Dokkies!πŸ’›πŸ’™β€οΈ

Our principal, Mrs Keller, read stories to the primary school learners today, and what a wonderful time they had! We were also joined by two ladies who used sign language while our principal read the stories. This gave our learners the opportunity to learn a few words and concepts in sign language, making the experience both fun and educational.

πŸ•ŠοΈ IN LOVING MEMORY πŸ•ŠοΈ

We remember with deep sadness and heavy hearts our beautiful learners, the cherished sons and daughters of our communities, whose lives were taken far too soon during an unfortunate scholar transport incident that took place on Monday, 19 January 2026 in Vanderbijlpark.

You were the future of our province. Your dreams, smiles, and potential will forever remain part of our collective memory. You will always be remembered, honoured, and loved.
