Evolve Sport coaching would like to congratulate 3 athletes that excelled at the latest Tinman #1 Triathlon held in Joburg recently. They all 3 came 2nd in their individual age groups.

Gustav Meyer had a fantastic race and showed his strength on the run. He was also selected to represent Gauteng (TTA) at SA Sprint as well as Standard Triathlon Championships later on this year. Gustav also secured a slot at IM 70.3 World Champs 2026 in Nice, France.

Grindstad started well with his strong swim and that set him up for an all over well paced performance. He will also be representing TTA at the SA Sprint Triathlon Championships in March.

Erasmus is the youngest and newest to the sport of Triathlon. As mentioned he also podiumed in 2nd position and will be representing TTA at the SA Sprint Triathlon Championships 2026. A fast runner who will still improve even further.

One week after racing the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Marbella, Lynette Fischer won her age group at the SA 10km Championships on 15 November 2025 in Bloemfontein. In the 10 year group, 5 years younger she also managed to podium.

SA CHAMPION!

Zoe Morgado (Grade 8 ) was crowned as the SA Champion in (U15) Biathle at the South African Biathle Championships hosted by Free State Modern Pentathlon (FSMPA) in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.
She also won silver in the Triathle at the SA Championships.
She represented the Free State at this National event and achieved qualifying times in both events for World Championships!
Zoe has therefore been selected to represent the SA team in three disciplines namely Biathle, Triathle and Laser Run and will represent her country at the World Championships in December.
Well done, Zoe! This is an amazing achievement.
