Charl-Jayden Mathobie competed in the Provincial Junior Commissioner Competition on 8 August and was awarded 2nd place. He is now the Free State Deputy Junior Provincial Commissioner of Policing. Congratulations to you, Charl and we look forward to see the good work you will do over the next year in office to make a positive change in your community. You have made Brebner very proud! 💙💚💛

The Bloemfontein Debating Association Finals Day took place on 1 August and the results are as follows:
- Junior Brebner C won the Plate Division
- Senior Brebner C came 2nd in the Plate Division
- Junior Top 10 Best Speakers: Tshepiso Leisa (2nd), Chantelle Phillemon (4th) and Karabelo Pebane (9th)
- Senior Top 10 Best Speakers: Tsoelopele Mofokeng (5th)
- Top 10 Adjudicators: Samkele Mtshatsheni (4th)

A huge congratulations to our very own Pia van der Merwe (player) and Ms Rethabile (coach) on their selection to the various Free State teams!

We are incredibly proud of your outstanding achievement and wish you all the best as you continue to raise the Brebner name with pride while representing the Free State with excellence. Keep shining and making us proud!

Karabelo Pebane, Thulagano Tenner and Charl-Jayden Mathobie represented the Bayswater Police Station in the Mangaung Metropolitan Junior Commissioner's Project on 24 July.

Thulagano came in the top 5 showcase speakers and Charl-Jayden came second in the Junior Commissioner section. Charl-Jayden will compete in the provincial competition on 8 August against the other Free State districts.

Oresiametse Motse and Katleho Litabe both received scores of 90% and above from the judges. ✨
