We are incredibly proud to announce that our Grade 10 Mathematical Literacy team, “3 Musketeers”, has successfully qualified for the next round of the National Grade 10 Mathematical Literacy Challenge – Round 4!

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PARENTS & LEARNERS

Dear Parents and Learners,

We are excited to announce our Entrepreneurship Day 2026, where our Grade 6, Grade 7 and Grade 8 learners will have the opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial skills by selling various products and items. 🛍️💰

💵 Civic Contribution: R20 per learner

We kindly encourage all parents and members of our school community to support our young entrepreneurs by purchasing from the learners and helping them gain valuable real-life business experience.

This initiative aims to develop learners’ skills in entrepreneurship, creativity, communication, marketing, financial management and teamwork.

OPERATION: RECOVER THE TROPHY 🏆

Something valuable has disappeared from Bolton Independent School… and we need YOU to recover it!

Date: Friday, 28 August 2026

For: Grade 4–11 learners ONLY

HOW TO JOIN THE HEIST

👥 1. FORM YOUR OWN TEAM
Create a team of exactly 10 learners. You choose your own team members and your own team name.

💰 2. TEAM PARTICIPATION FEE
R100 per team of 10 learners.

📝 3. REGISTER YOUR TEAM
Submit your team name + names of all 10 members to the designated person/office.

🔐 4. COLLECT YOUR CLUE CARDS
Your team must collect its clue cards from the school office.

🧩 5. COMPLETE THE CHALLENGES
Follow the clues, solve the challenges and work together as a team.

🏆 6. RECOVER THE TROPHY
Be the first team to successfully solve the Heist and recover the trophy!

👕 CIVIC DAY DRESS CODE

Learners may come wearing civic clothing.

R10 per learner for wearing civic.

⚠️ IMPORTANT:

* Teams must have 10 members.
* The Heist is ONLY for Grade 4–11 learners.

‎Good morning Parents/Guardians and Grade 12 Learners.

This is a friendly reminder that our Grade 12 Extra Classes commence today.

📅 Duration: 08 July – 17 July 2026

Learners are kindly requested to follow the official Extra Classes Timetable shared below, as each day’s programme has been carefully planned to prepare them for the upcoming examinations.

These classes have been organised to strengthen learners’ understanding of key concepts, improve examination techniques, and prepare them for the September Preliminary and National Senior Certificate (NSC) Final Examinations.

Learners are requested to bring:
✔️ Exercise books
✔️ Pens and pencils
✔️ Textbooks and study guides
✔️ Calculator (where applicable)
✔️ Water bottle and lunch

We encourage all Grade 12 learners to attend every session, arrive on time, and participate actively. Consistent attendance, dedication and hard work will greatly improve examination readiness and confidence.
