ATKV-UITKLOPSPEL WINNERS

Three of our Grade 9 Eunice ladies dominated the podium, claiming the first three places in the Grade 8 and 9 Afrikaans Eerste Addisionele Taal ATKV-UitklopSpel competition.

UNDERWATER HOCKEY

Taylor Coetzee (Grade 11) represented South Africa at the World Underwater Hockey Championships in Gebze, Turkey, after being selected for the U19 Ladies' National Underwater Hockey team.
She earned her first international cap when she played against France and went on to win Player of the Match twice, helping South Africa finish 7th overall.
She received her National Colours for Underwater Hockey.
What an amazing accomplishment, Taylor! We are extremely proud of you.

EQUESTRIAN

Congratulations to the following riders who have been selected for the Free State Core League Schools Team for 2026!

They will receive full Free State Colours and will compete at the National Championships, which will take place from 24 to 28 September 2026 at Kyalami Equestrian Park in Johannesburg.

Eunice alumna, Golda Schultz, is a South African soprano based in Berlin, Germany. She is conquering the world’s opera houses and concert halls, one stage at a time. She will be visiting Bloemfontein, and Eunice is very excited to welcome her back to school on 18 August. The Vitae Cantamus Choir will also perform at the Gala Concert on 20 August.

U18 HOCKEY 5s CHAMPIONS

Claire Volschenk represented team South Africa at the U18 Hockey 5s Youth Africa Cup in Nairobi, Kenya. They defeated Kenya, with an 11-6 victory in the final and won gold!
The team has booked their spot and will represent Africa at the FIH Youth Hockey 5s World Cup in December.
Well done, Claire and the 5s Team!

SA TOP SCHOOLS SQUASH TOURNAMENT

Our Eunice 1st Team had a fantastic tournament in Pietermaritzburg and won bronze!

Results:
* Won 17 - 7 against St Mary's
* Won 20 - 1 against Rustenburg
* Lost 7 - 16 against Midstream
* Lost 3 - 20 against Epworth
* Won 16 - 6 against Kingswood
