Real patients. Real environments. Real learning.

Clinical placements give students the opportunity to experience veterinary physiotherapy beyond the classroom.

They observe and participate in patient assessments, rehabilitation planning, treatment sessions, case discussions and professional communication while learning how clinical decisions are made in real-world settings.

These experiences help students connect theory with practice and develop the confidence needed to work with both animals and their owners.

🎓 Clinical exposure is where knowledge begins to become professional experience.

World Animal Day reminds us that better care starts with better understanding.

Education plays a powerful role in protecting animal health and wellbeing. By learning to recognise changes in movement, behaviour, comfort and function, future veterinary physiotherapists can contribute to earlier intervention and more proactive care.
Students are taught to look beyond treatment alone and to understand the importance of prevention, education and responsible animal management.

Because supporting animal wellbeing often starts long before rehabilitation is needed.
