Our girls had such a beautiful time creating flower crowns and nature jewellery when we celebrated Spring Day last week. Getting close to nature and to God while celebrating femininity was such a privilege and it was heartwarming to see them blossom. What a gift to get to spend so much time outside as a school!

The concept of Heritage really came alive in our Intermediate Phase last week! Learners were each given a community living in South African to research and represent — looking into their history, food, celebrations, traditional dress and cultural origins.

From German, Indian, Portuguese, Greek and Lebanese South Africans, to Cape Malay, Ndebele and Venda communities — our learners brought South Africa's incredible diversity to life, one presentation at a time.

We're so proud of the pride, curiosity and respect they showed for cultures beyond their own.

Mark the date — 27 November 2026 at Bethlehem Golf Club. A day built around community, connection and purpose, and we'd love for you to be part of it.

We are celebrating the new season and growing something special - together. On 22 September, we'll be planting Kareebome in our forest, and we're inviting every learner to bring an indigenous plant to add to it.

Come dressed in your brightest colours, flowers and all, and bring a picnic lunch to enjoy as we celebrate the new season and close off the term. We can't wait to see our forest — and our school family — bloom. 🌸

This week we're celebrating teacher Karin Redgard, our much-loved Afrikaans teacher. We asked our learners what they think of her, and the answers said it all — she makes Afrikaans fun, she's calm and friendly, and for more than a few kids, she's part of the reason they look forward to school. That's no small thing.

Karin brings a steady, warm presence to her classroom every single day, and it shows in how her learners talk about her. We are so lucky to have you, teacher Karin!
