🇿🇦 Happy Heritage Day! 🇿🇦
Today we celebrate the beautiful diversity, cultures, traditions and heritage that make South Africa so special. ❤️💛💚💙
Our little ones had a wonderful time celebrating Heritage Day, learning about different cultures and proudly showing off their beautiful traditional clothing. 🌍✨
Let us teach our children to embrace our differences, respect one another and be proud of where we come from.
“Diversity is what makes us stronger.” 🇿🇦
Happy Heritage Day from all of us at The Anchor Pre-Primary School! ❤️🇿🇦

On Wednesday, 19 August. We made our way to the Fire station- in conjunction with one of our themes of the week- Occupations.

We would like to Thank all the wonderful fire fighters at the Dihlabeng Fire and Rescue station in Bethlehem, for all the effort they went through to give us such a memorable experience.

We had a very busy Morning. We had a warrant officer from the K9 unit speaking to the children, we had the Free State health department speaking to us and showing us their ambulance and their special reaction services car. We also had a visit from Dr Nlapho.

Thank you to each and every member of the community for taking the time to come and speak to us, sharing your wisdom and showing our children what jobs they can be doing when they grow up!

This week we have been learning all about 'The people who help us' and their certain occupations. Today we had a dress up.

Thank you to all our wonderful parents for going above and beyond and helping our Anchor children have a fun filled day!
