The Anchor Pre-Primary School

We had a very busy Morning. We had a warrant officer from the K9 unit speaking to the children, we had the Free State health department speaking to us and showing us their ambulance and their special reaction services car. We also had a visit from Dr Nlapho.

Thank you to each and every member of the community for taking the time to come and speak to us, sharing your wisdom and showing our children what jobs they can be doing when they grow up!

This week we have been learning all about 'The people who help us' and their certain occupations. Today we had a dress up.

Today our preschoolers had a wonderful time learning all about healthy vegetables and kitchen safety! 🌽🍅🥦
The children explored different vegetables and learned important kitchen safety rules such as being careful around hot items, and using kitchen tools safely. 🧼👐
Learning through play makes every lesson fun and memorable! We are so proud of our little chefs for their enthusiasm, curiosity, and excellent listening skills. ⭐

Today our school got to be part of Graanveld's netball and rugby sports day. We truly appreciate the opportunity to participate and enjoyed the spirit of teamwork, sportsmanship, and friendship shared throughout the day.

Thank you to everyone involved in organising such a wonderful event and for making us feel so welcome. Our learners had a great experience and enjoyed competing alongside your teams.
