Empowering the Next Generation!

We're thrilled to share the success of our recent Financial Literacy Workshop with three of our partner schools!

The workshop was a huge hit, with learners engaging enthusiastically and demonstrating a keen interest in learning about personal finance and money management at young age.

At Afro-Xcel Academy, we're passionate about equipping young minds with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed financial decisions and secure a brighter future.

A huge thank you to our partner schools, facilitators, and volunteers who made this initiative possible!

"NAVIGATING MODERN MASCULINITY: UNDERSTANDING IDENTITY AND ROLES IN A CHANGING WORLD"

Today we took time and engaged Intumbane Primary School young boys in discussions about the evolving concepts of masculinity, identity, and roles in today's society, explored how these changes impact them and how they cope with the challenges brought about by these changes.

This is part of our monthly Injobo Ithungelwa Ebandla sessions which are aimed at exploring different age-appropriate topics with our young boys.

On behalf of the Afro-Xcel Youth Academy, learners, parents, SGBs and educators for Intumbane, Ngunjini and Dukuza Primary Schools, we would like to thank everyone that contributed and supported (financially and otherwise) our . This would not have been a success without your continuous generous contributions and support.

We use these campaigns to raise awareness on negative issues that are prevalent in our schools (especially rural public schools). This year we conducted wherein learners delivered a prepared speech (Intumbane), poem (Ngunjini) and a stage play (Dukuza) to raise awareness on bullying.

Learners were also taught on the importance of living the principle of *ubuntu* (i.e. I am because you are) demonstrated through sharing and giving back to those who are less fortunate.

We urge you to continue supporting (in whatever form) our initiatives in future.
