🦖🥚 DINOSAUR EGGS & FIZZING FUN! 🥚🦕

Our Grade R’s had a ROAR-some time learning all about dinosaurs last week! 🦕🌿

To finish off their dinosaur theme, our little scientists got to take part in a fizzing dinosaur egg experiment! 🧪🥚✨ Watching their dinosaur eggs bubble, fizz and “hatch” was so much fun!

But it wasn’t just about the excitement — our Grade R’s were also learning about cause and effect, making predictions, observing reactions and exploring early science concepts. 🔬👀

Learning through hands-on experiences makes learning fun, memorable and meaningful! ❤️

🎉 A Little Throwback to May! 🎉

We’re taking a little trip down memory lane to the Beer & Gin Festival back in May, where Rynfield Pre-Primary School was so excited to be part of the Kids Play Area together with Clamber Club 💛

It was such a wonderful day filled with play, laughter, fun and lots of happy little faces! 🥰 The children had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying the play area while families enjoyed a lovely day out.

We loved the opportunity to get out into our community, meet new families and show that at RPPS, play is at the heart of how our little ones learn and grow. 🌈✨

🐣 What an egg-citing week our Grade R's had! 🥚💛

Last week, our Grade R learners were exploring the fascinating theme of Oviparous Animals. To make their learning come alive, the wonderful team from Wildandearthly visited us with a chick incubator.

Luca gave an informative and engaging talk, teaching the children all about the incredible journey from egg to chick and the different stages of development. The highlight of the week was watching the chicks hatch right before their eyes! It was an unforgettable experience filled with excitement, curiosity, and wonder.

Hands-on experiences like these create meaningful learning opportunities that our children will remember for years to come.

A huge thank you to Luca and the entire WildandEarthly team for sharing your knowledge and giving our learners such a special experience. We loved every minute! 🐥❤️🌱

🌟 Exciting News from RPPS! 🌟

We are so excited to announce that, from Tuesday, 11th August, we will be extending our operating hours to better support our families!

We know that many of our parents travel long distances to and from work, and these changes have been made to help ease the pressure of busy morning and afternoon traffic. Our hope is that the earlier opening and later collection time will provide a little more flexibility and peace of mind for our families.

At RPPS, we are always looking for ways to better support our parents while providing a safe, happy and caring environment for our children.

We look forward to welcoming our little ones from 06:45 each morning from Tuesday, 11th August! 💙🌈🐘🦒🐿️🦌

The application period for Grade 1 & Grade 8 at Gauteng public schools starts today at 08:00 AM.

💻 From 08:00 AM, parents and legal guardians will be able to create a NEW Online Admissions profile and submit applications at www.gdeadmissions.gov.za. Previous usernames and passwords from earlier application periods will not work on the 2027 Gauteng Online Admissions System.

📱 Once applications open, parents can apply anytime, anywhere using a smartphone, tablet or computer.
