Our boys are currently down in the Boland showing incredible talent and determination. Here is how they’ve performed over the past three days:

* 2nd T20 vs Mpumalanga: Won by 8 wickets! Ryan le Roux smashed 51 runs off just 20 balls, also taking home the SA MVP cap.

* Day 2 (Time Cricket): Played out a hard-fought draw against host team Boland.

* Day 3 (50 Overs):
* Outstanding victory against North West by 116 runs!
* Ryan le Roux also suited up for the Tarentaal team against Boland and bagged an impressive 3 wickets.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR STARS! 🎉🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Huge congratulations to our two cross-country athletes who have qualified for the SA Championships on 3 October! To celebrate this amazing achievement, they have been awarded brand new running shoes from the school.

We want to show all our other cross-country athletes what is possible when you push yourself and give your all for the school. This is what hard work and dedication looks like.

Training will continue in Term 4, Term 1 and Term 2 to prepare for next year's cross-country season in Term 3. Every athlete who competed this term has the potential to get to SAs - you just need to push yourself and show up for every training session.

Next year, we want to see even MORE athletes going to SAs!

We are all so proud of you!

GOOD LUCK, JAMIE-LEE! 🥋🇿🇦

The moment you’ve worked so hard for is finally here! Seeing you step onto the national stage as part of the Protea team heading to the UFAK Championships in Algiers, Algeria, fills our entire school with immense pride.

Months of relentless dedication, early mornings, and late-night sacrifices on the tatami have led to this exact moment. You embody the true spirit of a champion—resilient, focused, and unstoppable.

As you prepare to represent South Africa against the best in Africa, know that your entire Belvedere family is standing right behind you, cheering for every kata, every kumite, and every second you compete. Belvedere Farm Welcomes a Proud New Tree

This week, in celebration of Arbor Day and the arrival of Spring, our RCL and DC learners took on another meaningful project — planting a tree that will stand as a symbol of growth, teamwork, and sustainability at Belvedere school.

The initiative was made possible through the generosity of Mr. Clinton van Zyl and Mr. Wade McGregor, who kindly purchased the tree.
Our Agriculture learners, together with the DC and RCL learners, worked hand-in-hand to dig the hole and carefully plant the sapling. Their collaboration reflected the spirit of unity and responsibility that Arbor Day encourages.
A special word of thanks goes to Mrs. Bernette van der Merwe and Mrs. Chrizanne Maritz, who arranged and coordinated the project. Their guidance ensured that the learners not only participated in a practical activity but also understood the deeper importance of caring for the environment.
Now, the Belvedere farm proudly has a new tree — a living reminder of how small actions can grow into lasting legacies. As the tree takes root and flourishes, may it inspire our learners to continue nurturing both nature and community.
