ETDP SETA Accredited Facilitator & Assessor Courses

Dear Aspiring Trainers/Managers,

Prestige is hosting a Facilitator course, followed immediately by an Assessor course, the dates are as follows:
Facilitator: Tuesday 20th June – Thursday 22nd June
Monday 10th July – Wednesday 12th July
Assessor: Tuesday 27th June – Thursday 29th June
Tuesday 18th July – Thursday 20th July

Delegates may attend either or both courses.

2015 Moderator Training

This unit standard is for people who conduct internal or external moderation of outcomes-based assessments.

The qualifying learner will be able to:

• Moderate assessments in terms of the relevant outcome statements and quality assurance requirements;
• Use the prescribed QA procedures in a fair, valid, reliable and practicable manner;
• Demonstrate understanding of moderation within the context of an OBE assessment system;
• Plan and prepare for moderation;
• Conduct moderation;
• Advise and support assessors;
• Report, record and administer moderation; and
• Review moderation systems and processes.

Who should attend: Individuals who are responsible for moderating the OBE assessment practices at workplace or independent training providers and/or assessment centre's.
