The ANNUAL REMINDER:

Respecting Classroom Teaching and Learning.

We value the support and commitment our parents show in their children’s education. However, it is essential to avoid interfering during lessons or altering what has been taught, as this can confuse learners and undermine the teacher’s role.

Our teachers plan and deliver lessons, assessments, and preparations for events such as exams, Eisteddfods, and performances with care and in alignment with the curriculum and each child’s developmental needs.

Re-teaching content differently, changing set pieces, or contradicting instructions can disrupt this process and impact a child’s confidence and performance.

We therefore ask that parents:

Refrain from entering classrooms or engaging with children during lesson time unless invited.

Support, rather than replace or change, the teaching and coaching your child receives at school.

Trust the preparation and guidance provided by the teacher for all academic, cultural, and performance events.

By working together and respecting these boundaries, we can ensure consistency, clarity, and the best possible outcomes for all students.

These rules apply with immediate effect moving forward.
