Our spiritual theme for Week 3 is "Gifts and Talents". 1 Peter 4:10 reminds us that every believer has received a gift from God, and we are called to use it to serve others faithfully. Our gifts are not meant for selfish gain but for building the body of Christ and glorifying God. Stewardship of gifts means recognizing that our abilities, opportunities, and spiritual gifts come from God’s grace. We must use them responsibly and willingly for the good of others. When we do so, we reflect God’s generous character.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gifts You’ve given me. Help me to recognize them, develop them, and use them faithfully in service to others and to Your glory. Amen.

Our Spiritual Theme for Week 2 is "Time" - Ephesians 5:16 reminds us that time is a precious gift from God, and wise stewardship requires making the most of every opportunity. Every moment we are given is a divine opportunity to glorify God. Paul reminds us that time is fleeting, and the world around us is filled with distractions and evil influences. As faithful stewards, we must use our time wisely—investing it in prayer, service, and love for others. Each day presents a chance to bring light into darkness.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to value the time You have given me. Teach me to use it for Your glory, making the most of every opportunity to honor You in all I do. Amen.

Our Term 3 spiritual theme is "Stewardship" and for Week 1 the sub-theme is "Surrender". Mark 8:34 reminds us that true stewardship begins with surrendering our lives fully to Christ.
Jesus calls us to surrender our personal ambitions, desires, and comforts to follow Him fully. Stewardship is not just about managing resources; it is about offering our whole lives as instruments for God’s purposes. By taking up our cross, we submit to His will, allowing Him to direct our paths and resources for His glory.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to surrender every part of my life to You. Teach me to follow You faithfully and manage all that You have entrusted to me according to Your will. Amen.

Term 3 is here and we are so happy to have you all back! We trust that the term ahead will be a good one!

This Youth Day, we celebrate the young people in our classrooms, communities, and country.

May our young people know their identity in Christ, walk confidently in His purpose, and shine His light wherever He leads them.

Our Spiritual Theme for Week 11 is “The Gift of Limits (Protection).” Proverbs 2:11 reminds us that “Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.” God’s boundaries and wisdom are not meant to restrict us, but to protect and guide us. When we seek His understanding and make wise choices, He helps keep us safe from harm and leads us on the right path.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the wisdom and protection You provide through Your guidance and boundaries. Help us to make wise decisions, to walk with discernment, and to seek understanding in all that we do. Guard our hearts and minds and lead us in paths that honour You and bring peace and safety to our lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Our learners have been split into four teams and are competing to see which team can raise the most money for the re-paving of the Shanan School entrance.

On 19 June, they will participate in the God's Promise Fun Run, with sponsorships helping their teams earn points while raising funds for this exciting project.

We invite families, friends, community members, and local businesses to support our learners by making a donation.

Every step brings us closer to our R60,000 goal!

Our Spiritual Theme for Week 10 is “Fruit of the Spirit.” Galatians 5:22–23 reminds us that when we walk closely with God, His Spirit produces good fruit in our lives. These qualities reflect the character of Christ and should be visible in the way we speak, act and treat others each day.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the work of Your Spirit in our lives. Help us to grow in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Teach us to reflect the character of Jesus in all that we do and to be a light to those around us. Strengthen us to live each day guided by Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
