⚽🏆 Support Our Soccer Kick Tournament Fundraiser!

Our learners have been divided into four teams and are competing to see which team can raise the most money toward our goal of re-paving the Shanan School entrance.

On 11 June, they will take part in a fun Soccer Kick Tournament, earning points for their teams through the sponsorships they receive.

We're looking for families, friends, community members, and businesses to sponsor our learners and support this important project.

Our Spiritual Theme for Week 9 is “Submission.” In Luke 22:42, Jesus prayed, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” Through this powerful example, Jesus teaches us that submission means trusting God’s will above our own, even when it is difficult. True submission is an act of faith, obedience, and surrender to God’s perfect plan for our lives.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help us to trust You fully and to submit our lives to Your will. Give us strength to obey You even when the path is not easy, and teach us to surrender our fears, plans, and desires into Your hands. May our hearts remain faithful, humble, and willing to follow where You lead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Our spiritual theme for Week 8 is “Humility.” In Luke 14:11, Jesus teaches us that true greatness comes through humility. Humility means putting God first, serving others with kindness and recognising that all we have comes from Him. A humble heart reflects the character of Christ and allows God to work powerfully in and through us.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, teach us to walk in humility each day. Help us to serve others with love, to place You above our own pride, and to honour You in our words and actions. Give us hearts that are gentle, teachable, and grateful. May we follow the example of Jesus in showing kindness, compassion, and humility to those around us. Amen.

Our spiritual theme for Week 7 is “Fasting.” In Matthew 6:17–18, Jesus teaches us that fasting is not about outward appearance or seeking attention from others, but about humbling ourselves before God with sincere hearts. Fasting helps us draw closer to Him, strengthen our dependence on Him and quiet the distractions of life so we can focus on His presence and guidance.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of prayer and fasting. Teach us to seek You with genuine hearts and not for the approval of others. As we fast, help us grow spiritually, hear Your voice more clearly and trust You more deeply each day. Amen.
