Super sharpshooter teacher

Mrs K. Booyens, from our junior college, participated in the SAPSA, IPSC Handgun National Championship held at Frontier Shooting Range, Stilfontein, Northwest Province from 8-10 September.

She won the following medals:
Production Optics Lady-Senior Gold ; SAPSA medal and IPSC Presidents medal.
She also represented the corporate-sponsored team of Buffelsfontein Weapons in the team's competition.

Well done Mrs Booyens, this is quite the achievement.

This is what Ashton is made of!

Our U9 cricket team played hard ball cricket for the very first time this year. They faced every game with the biggest smiles and even bigger optimism. No team has ever been more well supported! These amazing parents suck it out though all the tough games and their gift was to see this magic little team win their final game!

Thank you Ashtonian parents, you are the reason this team finished on such a high note. Thank you for your positive presence at every game. See you next year.

Mare brothers ace tennis

Daniel (Form 4) and Josh (Form 2) Mare have both been awarded provincial colours for tennis. They recently participated in an interprovincial tournament where they represented Gauteng East.

Ashton is very proud of their commitment and achievements.

U13 Cricket season comes to an end.

Our U13 cricket team had a great season with some brilliant batting, fantastic fielding and all around good sportsmanship.

Well done to this young team, and a big thank you to their families for the support and coaches for their wisdom and guidance.

You have made your school very proud.

Well done to our U13 action hockey team that played against Ridgewood today. Congrats on an excellent win!
