Our Grade R Giraffe class learnt about jobs people do and had fun dressing up as what they would like to be one day.

Our Grade R Giraffe class practicing their numeracy, language, life skills and coding and robotics skills during their computer lesson.
Computers is an important part of our Grade R curriculum.

Our final concert practice is done and dusted. We cannot wait to put on a great performance for you.

The Teddy Police Force kept our school safe this week.
Our Grade R Teddy class had fun learning about jobs people do and made their own police hats.

Our Grade R Teddy class wrote their own shopping lists, just like Sam and Zinzi in our literacy story this week.
This was a great emergent reading and writing activity.

Our Grade R Teddy class worked in pairs to "read" Spot goes to the shop to our friends.

Our Grade R Teddy class had a busy week in our literacy lessons. We drew our favourite part of this week's story: Spot goes to the shop, we made Spot the dog by drawing and cutting out Spots eyes, ears and spots and pasting them onto his face.
We enjoyed some quiet time reading books and played a sound identification game.

Our Grade R Teddy class ended off the week learning about the a sound with yummy Astros.

Our Grade R Teddy class focused on numbers, operations and relationships for numeracy, learning all about the number 7.
We made the number 7 with playdough, rolled a dice to see how many sweets to put in our sweet jars, and completed a number 7 puzzle. We also ordered and matched number symbols, dots and words from 1 to 7.
As a class we helped our friends stand in the correct order from 1 to 7. We also discussed numbers that come before, after and in between.
