Our Heritage Day was filled with beautiful outfits, delicious food, special friends and great music, we danced the day away!

Developing our gross motor skills is an important part of our daily program. We practiced the skills we have learnt this term during our Wellness 2 Life Celebration Day.
We showed great sportsmanship, team work and most importantly had fun.
We were so proud to receive our certificates.

Our Grade R Teddy class learnt about healthy environments. We learnt how to reduce, reuse and recycle.
We made robots out of recyclable materials.
This was a great way to incorporate our life skills lesson and our coding and robotics lesson into a fun hands-on activity.

After baking flapjacks our tables were all sticky. We had fun scrubbing our tables clean with sponges and soap.

Our Grade R classes made flapjacks for baking. We learnt what a recipe is and how to properly measure ingredients.
We put syrup and cinnamon sugar on our flapjacks. Yum!!

Our Grade R Teddy class made their own ladybugs. We learnt about how ladybugs help eat pests in our gardens in our story Grandpa Farouk's garden.

In our numeracy rotations our Grade R Teddy class drew our own money, we did problem solving using our structure beads and fruit counters. We did addition, adding 2 to the number rolled on the dice. We added this number of playdough sweets to our shopping baskets and we picked dot cards and coloured the same amount of dots on our tortoise shell.
