CHELSEA VAN DYK

Chelsea stormed into the 2026 athletic season, opening her account with an 800m Record at the Wildeklawer TUT Top 14 event on Wednesday 28 January in a time of 2:11. Improving on the old record by 6 seconds.

Saturday 31 January, Chelsea took on the Under 16 Girls Steeplechase Record which is currently set at 5:01. As she powered to victory, she stopped the clock at a blistering 4:50:34 to set a NEW National Record (awaiting ASA approval).

What a way to start your 2026 season, we look forward with great anticipation to what is still to come in the season ahead.

Jade Doran caps off what has been an unforgettable year for this training group.

Jade competed in the African Youth Olympic Games in Angola and finished 4th in the Girls 2000m Steeplechase. As she continues to gain experience, confidence and racing expertise we are certain that Jade will define herself as one of the best Steeplechasers to come from South Africa.

2026 is looming and we are so excited for what is to come in the upcoming Athletics season.

Congratulations to our not so young juniors for making the Central Gauteng Sub Youth Team that will be competing in Potchefstroom in the 5th and 6th of December in the ASA Sub Youth Championships.

As you take your last few strides as Primary School Athletes, we look forward with great anticipation for what your future holds.

ASA CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025!

A tough course, tough weather conditions and tough competition were the perfect recipe for some of the best racing we have seen in the last few years at a National Championships.

15 of our athletes took on this challenge, while for some it was their first taste of a National Championship, for others it was the race they have been looking forward to all season.

Chelsea van Dyk grabbed yet another National Title finishing the Girls Under 14 4km in just over 14min. 🥇

Our other athletes performed exceptionally well and continue to display the qualities that we look to instill in our athletes. We are extremely proud of your achievements.

Jade Doran represented South Africa at the CAA African Championships in Nigeria this past week.

Jade competed in the 2000m Steeplechase. After a hard fall on the 2nd to last water jump, Jade managed to pick herself up and finish in 5th place and in a new Personal Best time of 7:06.

Jade has shown the potential to dip far under the 7min barrier and we look forward to seeing her progress over the next season.
