THE GIFT I DIDN’T KNOW I NEEDED
Happy birthday my baby girl, we have been through a lot together me and you , you and daddy, everything played out in a strange way, even today we still don’t know how and what happened , the only thing we are definite about is you happened and you were needed for a reason we didn’t know , but had to later find out, and we definitely did find out , today am celebrating your first birthday away from you, separated by oceans and mountain, buy spiritually we are intertwined together and we shall remain like that.
The day I found out I was pregnant with you I was overwhelmed by many things , my mind was raising, I was asking myself, “How will I make it” and today I realise I didn’t make it , but you made it, I had fears of getting you in a foreign country without family around us, without help from my loved ones, all this fears creeped in from the day I got sick and was hospitalised for 7 days, ohhh girl… I remember this day like it was yesterday, I had to survive on infusions for 4 days because I couldn’t keep anything down , I remember test results coming back and the gynaecologist telling me that if there no change within the next 8 hours they will be forced to choose my life over you, I couldn’t take it but I knew I had to trust God to work a miracle and that he did. One day I will hand her all her birthday letters,love and miss you 🤎My strength, you have grown up so much ohhhh I can’t wait to hold you and kiss those cheeks
