We could also smell coffee as we worked.

The children planted their flowers and pretended to water them with the watering cans.

Kinetic sand is a great SENSORY activity for children.

It is a unique substance.

It is sand like when left alone but when you grasp it in your hand you are able to mould it, squeeze it and shape it.

Once you add pressure , it crumbles back to its original state.

Its soothing to touch, manipulate and is used for stress relief.

Creating activities for children to actively use their senses as they explore their world through SENSORY play is crucial for brain development.

The young paleontologists loved roaring and stomping their dinosaurs through the kinetic sand.

Much fun was had today!!!!!

Moonsand has an almost sand like consistency.

Moonsand is great for SENSORY messy and tactile delight.play.

It's super soft and crumbly.

It can be shaped, squeezed and moulded into different shapes and crumble back to its original consistency.

Working with moonsand strengthens those finger and hand muscles.

With our winter theme we added cups, bowls, spoons and snow flake cutters.

This SENSORY activity leads to tons and tons of playtime and creative thinking.
