🌿🎨 Learning Beyond the Classroom! ☀️

Today, our Grade 3 learners took Environmental Studies outdoors, where nature became both our classroom and our inspiration. 🍃 Armed with pencils and paper, each learner found a special spot in the field to quietly observe and sketch the world around them.

By combining Environmental Studies and Art, learners practised careful observation, creativity, and appreciation for the natural environment, all while enjoying some fresh air! 🌼✏️

Sometimes the best classroom has no walls. 💚

🎬 My Netflix Documentary: The Life of a School Principal 😂🍎

You think you’re about to sit down and get ready for the day... and then...

✌🏻 “Please help find my child’s jacket...” (Size 9–10... no name, of course! 😅)
✌🏻 Lunch delivery arrives.
✌🏻 A little one needs shoelaces tied... or a wobbly tooth pulled. 🦷
✌🏻 “Can I have a plaster, please?” 🩹
✌🏻 The photocopier has decided it’s had enough. 🖨️
✌🏻 “Can I borrow your stapler?” 📎
✌🏻 A learner forgot their lunch, so it’s a quick tuck shop order. 🥪
✌🏻 My own child pops in with a test that needs signing. 🤣
✌🏻 A parent arrives to fetch a child early.
✌🏻 Tears over a soccer ball that just gave up. ⚽💔
✌🏻 “Has anyone seen an extension cord?” (Mine disappeared again! 😂)
✌🏻 Paper delivery... finally! 📦

And somehow, in between all of that, the school keeps running. ❤️

The truth is, there isn’t a single day that goes by where I don’t absolutely love what I do. Every interruption is part of the beautiful chaos that makes a school feel like home. I’m incredibly grateful for our amazing staff, our supportive families and most of all, our incredible students who make every day meaningful.

I wouldn’t trade this job for anything. 🌿❤️🍎
