🏠 *Theme of the Week: My Home* 🏠

Over the past two weeks, we explored the wonderful theme “My Home.” The children learned about who lives in our homes, the different parts of a house, what homes are built from, and what makes a home a happy place. ❤️

To bring the theme to life, the kids enjoyed lots of arts and crafts activities that also helped develop their fine and gross motor skills. ✂️🖍️

From making toilet roll rooftops 🏠 to building their own homes with blocks 🧱, the children had an absolute blast learning and creating together! 😄✨

This week we made our own house cookies with wafers, lots of icing sugar and Smarties. It was a sweet treat to end the week. 🍪👩‍🍳

Science Corner: Exploring Buildings 🏗️

The children stepped into the role of architects as they created their own blueprints for unique buildings 🏢.

They got hands-on, constructing their designs using a variety of materials, including building blocks, wooden blocks, cups, and more 🧱🪵🥤.

It was a Friday full of exciting building experiences! 🎉✨

My Family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Last week, we embraced our creative side with an exciting theme! 🎨 The kids crafted clay figures representing our family members and transformed toilet rolls into mini versions of us. They even designed outfits from various materials and displayed them on a homemade washing line. 👗👕

The highlight of the week was our dress-up day, where everyone dressed as a family member. 🎉 It was so much fun seeing their creativity shine! 🌟

🎉 Family Baking Day! 🍪👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

This week, the kids got creative and decorated finger biscuits to look like our family members! 🥳✨ We used jelly tots 🍬 and pretzel sticks 🥨 to bring our cookies to life! 🌈❤️

🌟 Playball Demo Recap! 🌟

The kids had an amazing time with the Playball demo! It's such a fun way to get everyone up and moving, engaging all those muscles and promoting activity. A big thank you to Playball for another fantastic session! 🎉

🌟 Theme of the Week: My Family! 🌟

This week, we got crafty 🎨 and made a class family tree 🌳 with our handprints, showing we’re one big family at Hapidays! ❤️ We also enjoyed fine and gross motor activities 🤹‍♂️ and learned about primary colors 🌈 and how to mix them.

What a fun week of creativity and learning! ✨

🎨 My Senses Theme!

Last week was all about senses! We had so much fun tasting sweet, salty, and sour foods—those sour reactions were priceless! 😄

The kids explored different textures from mystery bags and enjoyed playing with playdough and kinetic sand. Plus, we worked on fine motor skills as part of our theme. It was a fantastic sensory adventure! 🌈✨

🌟 Valentine's Day at Hapidays! 💖

This week, we celebrated LOVE! 🎉 We had a super fun mini photoshoot for Valentine's Day. 📸 The kids looked adorable in their favorite red and pink outfits! ❤️💗

We got creative with some love-themed arts and crafts! 🎨💕 And of course, we made delicious sweet snacks by combining biscuits, icing, and heart-shaped sprinkles! 🍪✨

🙆💃Demos at Hapidays. 💃🙆

We love when our kids get the chance to use their bodies to get exercise and move around. We had the pleasure to have a demo from Dance for Joy. The kids loved every moment of it and we cannot wait to have them back for more dancing fun!

This week, we dove into the fascinating world of our senses! The kids had a blast engaging in art activities, using their sense of touch to create beautiful masterpieces. 🎨✨

We also incorporated fine and gross motor activities, which helped them learn more about how their senses work. It's incredible to see their creativity and curiosity flourish!
