🐾 Pets Week – Week 2! 🐶🐱🐰🐠

Our little ones had another fun-filled week exploring all things Pets! 🐾💕

🎨 Art & Creativity:
They made adorable paper plate cats 🐱, created goldfish in fish tanks 🐠, made leashes for their art dogs 🐕 and crafted their very own bunny ears! 🐰

🏃‍♀️ Gross & Fine Motor Fun:
The children enjoyed an exciting obstacle course, practised balancing on a rope, rescued animals from netting, and even gave their pet ducks a little wash! 🦆🫧

🧩 To finish off the fun, they worked together to complete animal puzzles and build their skills through play. 🐾💛

What a wonderful week of learning, creating and having fun with our furry and feathered friends! 🐶🐱🐰🐠✨

🔬🐠 Science: All About My Pet Fish! 🐟💙

This week, our little scientists dove into the fascinating world of pet fish! 🌊✨

🐠 We learned how to identify which animals are fish and which are not.
🔍 We explored the different parts of a goldfish and learned what makes each part special.
🎨 And the most exciting part… the class voted on what colour fish they would like to get! 🗳️🐟

Learning about science is so much fun when it involves our future little classroom friend! 🥰🐠💦

🐾🐶 Pets Week Fun! 🐱🐰🐦

Our little learners had a paw-some week last week exploring the wonderful world of pets! ❤️

🎨 They coloured, painted, and glued adorable cats, dogs, and birds, and even made their own bunny ears! 🐱🐶🐦🐰

🎣 During playtime, they caught magnetic fish, enjoyed water play by scooping and pouring, pretended to be playful puppies, fed a hungry puppy, and strengthened their fine motor skills by colour-matching cat whiskers with pegs. 💦🐕😺

It was a week filled with creativity, learning, imagination, and lots of smiles! 🥰✨

👩‍🍳🐑 Baking Fun – Farm Style! 🍪💚

Last Friday, our little chefs had an ewe-nique baking adventure in the kitchen! 🥰 They created the cutest little sheep cookies using Marie Biscuits, fluffy marshmallows, and yummy icing. 🍪🤍

💬 "Life is better when you're part of the flock... especially if there are cookies involved!" 😄🐑

🐄🐷 Week 2: Farm Animals 🐔🌾

We had another fun-filled week exploring our Farm Animals theme! 🤩 The children got creative by making chicks and chickens from their painted handprints, drawing farm animals, decorating pig pictures with "mud," and decorating egg drawings with real eggshells. 🎨🐣

We also enjoyed lots of pretend play by feeding the cows, building fences for our farm animals, and collecting colourful "eggs" from their nests. 🐄🥚

Our gross motor and sensory activities kept everyone busy as we balanced bean bags, crawled over egg cartons, walked on different textures, rolled like little piggies, and had lots of fun on the trampoline! 🤸‍♀️🌈

🎃🔬 Science Week: All About Pumpkins! 🔬🎃

Last week our little scientists had so much fun exploring the wonderful world of pumpkins! 🍂🧡

👀 We identified and learned about the different parts of a pumpkin. 🌱 We carefully observed the pumpkin seeds, drew what they look like now, and then used our imaginations to predict and draw what they will look like once they grow into beautiful pumpkin plants!

🎨✨ ⚖️ We also weighed the pumpkin and compared its weight to different objects, making learning about measurement lots of fun!

We love seeing our children ask questions, make predictions, and discover new things through hands-on learning. 🥰💛

🐄🐑 Farm Animal Fun at Hapidays! 🐓🐴🌾

This week we explored the wonderful world of Farm Animals and had an amazing time learning through play! 🤩💚

🎨 Our little artists got creative by: 🐑 Making adorable sheep and horses with their handprints 🥚 Decorating eggs (some even used real eggshells!) 🐔 Colouring, drawing and decorating chickens 🌾 Painting beautiful farm fields and adding fluffy cotton wool sheep

🌟 We also enjoyed lots of hands-on learning: 🎣 Fishing balls out of our pretend duck pond 🐄 Pretending to milk a cow 🥚 Becoming busy farmers collecting eggs 🐾 Matching farm animals to their pictures 🚶 Walking carefully on egg cartons for a fun balancing challenge 🐷 Creating cute farm animals out of playdough 🌞 And, of course, enjoying some outdoor play!

Every activity helped build creativity, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory exploration, balance, and lots of imagination! ❤️🐮

Today we celebrated the life and legacy of our beloved Madiba with lots of fun, creativity, and smiles! 🌟

The children enjoyed taking special photos 📸 to remember this meaningful day and created beautiful artwork in honour of our hero. 🎨 We also got crafty by making traditional necklaces 📿 and South African flags 🇿🇦, while learning about the values of kindness, unity, and caring for one another.

It was a wonderful way to remember and celebrate the incredible legacy of Nelson Mandela. 💛💚🖤💙❤️

We made the most of the last week of the holidays with lots of laughter, teamwork, and exciting activities! 💛
