Happy Birthday, Ma'am Carlia!
If there is one thing everyone knows about Ma'am Carlia, it's her beautiful smile. No matter the day, no matter the challenge, she has a way of greeting others with warmth, kindness and a gentle smile that brightens the room. She doesn't seek the spotlight or say much, but her quiet presence speaks louder than words ever could.
She reminds us that strength isn't always loud. Sometimes it's found in showing up faithfully, choosing joy, encouraging others and continuing to smile through every season.
Ma'am Carlia, thank you for being such a beautiful example of grace, resilience and faithfulness. Your kindness, humility and servant heart bless our learners, parents and staff more than you probably realize.
As you celebrate another year of life, we pray that the same love and encouragement you so freely give to others will be returned to you many times over. May God continue to strengthen you, guide your steps and fill this new year with peace, favour and abundant blessings.
"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." — Proverbs 31:25

Happy Belated Birthday, Sir Celso!
This week we had the joy of celebrating the birthday of our wonderful Math Tutor, Sir Celso!
Numbers may be your specialty, but the difference you make in the lives of our learners can never truly be measured. Thank you for the patience you show, the encouragement you give, and the time you invest in helping our students grow in confidence and ability.
Your calm nature, willingness to help and passion for teaching are such a blessing to our Bellville Christian Academy family. We are truly grateful to have you as part of our team.
Sir Celso, may this new year of your life be filled with God's abundant favour, good health, joy and countless blessings. May He continue to strengthen you, guide your steps and use you to impact many more young lives.
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans." – Proverbs 16:3

This morning we had the privilege of welcoming Pastor Quintus Groenewald to Bellville Christian Academy for Chapel.
Thank you for sharing such a powerful message with our students and reminding us that what seems impossible for man is always possible with God.
As we journeyed through the miracle of the Red Sea, our students were amazed to hear just how great this miracle truly was — not only in the opening of the sea, but also in the daily provision needed to sustain the Israelites in the wilderness with food, water and everything they required.
Sometimes we read these Bible stories so quickly that we forget the incredible scale of what God actually did. This morning’s message helped bring Scripture to life and gave our learners a fresh picture of God’s power, faithfulness and provision.
And what a timely reminder for all of us as we step into a new week:
When the road ahead looks blocked, God can still make a way.
When the situation feels too big, God is still bigger.
When we cannot see the answer, we can still trust the One who already knows the way forward.
May our students walk into this week with courage, knowing that they never face a challenge alone and that no obstacle is greater than the God they serve.
Thank you, Pastor Quintus, for investing in the hearts of our learners and for helping us begin the week with renewed faith and hope.

There are moments as a school that simply make your heart smile.
A little while after one of our classes created their own polymer clay earings for Mother's Day at school, one of our learners quietly arrived one morning with a special surprise. She had spent her own time teaching herself to crochet and had lovingly made two beautiful scrunchies, one for each of her teachers.
It wasn't for an assignment.
It wasn't for a competition.
It was simply a gift from her heart.
Of course, we had to ask, "Where did this idea come from?"
Her answer was so special.
She shared that seeing one of her classmates start a small business making and selling polymer clay earrings inspired her to think,
"Maybe I can create something too."
And just like that... one young entrepreneur inspired another.
Today, she has turned that inspiration into her own little business, creating these beautiful handmade crocheted scrunchies.
At Bellville Christian Academy, this is exactly what we love to see-learners encouraging one another, discovering their talents and having the confidence to step out and try something new.
We are incredibly proud of you ! !
If you would like to support this amazing young entrepreneur, her handmade scrunchies are available to order.

Every dream starts somewhere.
Sometimes... it starts with two handmade scrunchies made especially for two teachers.

Welcome back to Term 3!
What a wonderful way to begin another exciting term together! We pray that every learner, parent and staff member has a term filled with growth, joy, new opportunities and God's abundant blessings.
Before we jump into everything that Term 3 has in store, we simply had to share one of the highlights from the end of last term...
Our learners who took part in the Safe Kids First Aid Course had an incredible experience! They didn't just sit and listen, they rolled up their sleeves, practised real first aid skills, worked through different scenarios, asked questions, laughed together and built confidence every step of the way.
Each learner proudly received their First Aid Certificate, their very own First Aid Kit, and most importantly, valuable knowledge that could one day help someone in need.
Knowing that our learners are equipped with these life-saving skills is something we are incredibly proud of.
A huge thank you to Safe Kids for presenting such an engaging, practical and memorable course. We truly appreciate the passion and care you invest in teaching children skills that can make a real difference.
Here's to another exciting term of learning, growing and creating unforgettable memories together!

Who said school bags are the only way to carry your books?
To wrap up the term, we swapped our school bags for... well... just about everything else! Cooler boxes, washing baskets, shopping bags, suitcases, laundry baskets —you name it, our students found a way to bring it!
A huge shoutout to our students and parents for embracing the fun and bringing such incredible creativity to the challenge. What a fantastic way to finish the term, with smiles, imagination, and plenty of laughs!
Here at BCA, we believe that joy and learning go hand in hand.

What do Father's Day gifts and pancakes have in common?
Honestly... not much.
But that's exactly what made today so much fun.
While our students were putting the finishing touches on their Father's Day surprises, they were also enjoying pancakes with huge smiles and even bigger appetites. And if there's one thing we know about our learners, it's that they're always ready for a good snack!
Some days are about big events.
Some days are about simple moments.
Today was one of those days we'll remember for both.
- Handmade gifts for special dads.
- Pancakes shared with friends.
- Smiles everywhere.
And really... that's a pretty great Friday.
