Music Workshop - Northpine Congregation

🎶 What an amazing day at the first music workshop hosted by The Prelude Music Foundation at the Northpine Congregation of the OAC!

A huge thank you to Priest Evner Parson, Underdeacon Ghurshim MacKay, and their wonderful wives for facilitating and supporting the class – your efforts truly made the day special.

We’re also super grateful to all the members who showed up and participated – your enthusiasm set the tone! 🙌 We're hopeful that the numbers will grow even more at the next session, so keep spreading the word!

Special thanks to our facilitators, Priest Bethoven Jacobs and Br. Rudowaan Fredericks, for leading such an informative and inspiring workshop.

🎶✨ The Prelude Music Foundation Visits Northpine! ✨🎶

Today was such an exciting day as The Prelude Music Foundation visited Northpine to introduce our brand new Prelude Music Academy! 🎷🥁🎺

We had the incredible opportunity to speak to parents and students about what we’re building — a space where young talents can grow, dream, and thrive through the power of music. 🌟

Our amazing speakers — Braden Cleophas (Co-H.O.D for Music Education for Bellville, Greenlands, and Proteaville) and Rudowaan Fredericks (Co-H.O.D for Music Education for Belmont Park and Scottsville in Kraaifontein) — inspired everyone with their vision and passion for nurturing the next generation of musicians. 🎶🔥

We were also joined by our foundation members, Bethoven Jacobs (Principal Partner), Carl Spannenberg (Logistics Officer) Jadon Booysen (Financial Officer) and Clayton Jacobs (Administrative Officer)

They shared more about the amazing benefits of joining the Academy — from top-tier music training, mentorship opportunities, to performances that help build confidence and community. 🌍💙

We can't wait to welcome all the young musicians from Northpine and surrounding areas! 🎼
