I have my own demo board as well as a projector & screen for training at schools.

I am available to do Chess coaching at your school or privately.

I live in Oakdale, Bellville.

I have won numerous tournaments over the years.

I won the WP Junior championships 3 years in a row. 1969 - 1971

I also won the South African Junior Championships out of the top 250 players in 1972 qualifying for the World Junior Chess Championships, but South Africa was barred because of Apartheid.

I then came 2nd in the Natal Open, Eastern Province Open & 2nd in the SA Open 1981

I was selected for South Africa to play in the Maccabi Games in Tel Aviv Israel.

I then won the Western Province Senior Championship in 1994 and the Good Hope Open in 2005

I won the Summer Slam Tournament ahead of many well known players in 2018

This past weekend I came joint first in the Good Hope Open at Groote Schuur Primary.

I have decided to do coaching twice a week because I enjoy interacting with kids.

I have two businesses: an Events business called Party Pro which has been going since 1982 & a paving business called Paving Pro established in 1996

I am keen to start coaching as soon as possible & because of my many years of Chess experience I know I can give the best training.
