We are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Lucia Cunningham Dance Academy dancers at the 2026 SABOD National Championships, held at the Roodepoort Theatre on 8 and 9 August. 💃🕺
An incredible 32 LCDA dancers competed at Nationals, with 23 dancers qualifying for the opportunity to represent South Africa at the upcoming IDO World Championships in Europe! 🇿🇦🌍
Our dancers achieved phenomenal results across Ballet Repertoire, Improvisation, Jazz, Classical Ballet, Modern, Showdance and Street Dance Show, earning multiple 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes across solos, duets and group categories. 🏆

Our Street Dance Show dancers also shone, with Landile Keswa, Zamani Masasanya and the Game Time group each securing 2nd place! 👏🔥
Qualifying to represent South Africa on the international stage is an extraordinary achievement and the culmination of countless hours of dedication, discipline and passion.
