Creating Healthy eating habits during Winter can be tough, so here are some helpful nutrition tips to get you Started:
1) Focus on Complex Carbs over Simple Cravings:
When temperatures drop, our bodies naturally crave carbohydrates to help boost serotonin and generate heat. Instead of fighting the craving, the trick is steering it toward complex carbohydrates.
2) Double Down on Immune-Supporting Micronutrients:
Winter is prime time for seasonal bugs, making immune support a massive talking point for any health-conscious audience.
3) The "Hidden" Winter Dehydration:
This is an incredibly relatable tip because almost everyone forgets to drink enough water when it’s cold outside.
