The Grade R's enjoyed learning all about Transport and the different jobs people do !

On Saturday the 1st of August, three of our learners participated at the Eskom Expo for young scientists. From the 234 learners who participated in the 1st round, only 105 learners went through to the second round.

Bathurst Primary School's learners were fortunate to be one of those 105 learners.

From many judges and stressful moments it went quite well.

Ayongezwa Mxube received a Bronze medal for her project in :" Developing Bio-sourced hydrogels for precision water retention"

Zimfefe Nxangashe received a merit for her project in: "Longevity of milk"

Zama Sigonyela's project was about: "Find the cheapest way to keep soil moist so that less water is used in gardens"

Well done girls, we are very proud of each one of you, you worked independently and grew a lot.

On Friday the Gr. R learners enjoyed a warm cup of hot chocolate. They also made beautiful pictures.

On Tuesday and Wednesday evening some of our learners did a presentation to advertise our Schools golf day. Thank you girls. We hope to see some support. Please spread the news to your friends and family that play golf ⛳

The Grade 3's and the Grade R's had to use their imagination and creativity with recycling materials. Out of the materials raised robots, cars, houses and trains. They really had so much fun.
