Thereâs a fine line between standing in your truth and simply protecting a story youâve become attached to.
Maybe growth is having the courage to find out which one youâre doing.

đTrain with me Welcome to Moving Warriors!
I help you build mobility, strength, and control that transfers directly into martial arts, BJJ and real athletic performance. I'm Skye Mallon, your guide on this incredible journey of self-discovery and transformation through movement.
âWho I Am: I'm a passionate advocate for the power of movement in our lives. My journey with movement began as a personal quest for balance, strength, and inner p
This one isnât really about movement. Or maybe it is, just a different kind.
Something Iâve been thinking about a lot lately is how to stay yourself when youâre surrounded by different personalities, opinions, energies, and ways of communicating.
Not everyone will have the sensitivity you have or read a room the way you do. Not everyone will understand why something affects you deeply.
And learning that has taught me something important:
You donât need to become harder to handle people better.
You can be sensitive and still have boundaries.
Compassionate and still say no. Open-hearted without giving everyone unlimited access to you. Confident without needing everyone to understand you.
Sometimes strength is simply knowing yourself well enough that someone elseâs behaviour doesnât get to decide who you become.
Movement will always be a huge part of what I do, but Iâm interested in the whole human behind the body too, psychology, behaviour, emotional intelligence, resilience and what actually helps us show up better in our lives.
Strong body. Strong mind. Soft enough to feel. Grounded enough to stay yourself.
Thatâs the kind of strength Iâm interested in.
Quality of movement has become something I value more and more over the years.
Not because every movement needs to look perfect, but because the way we move shapes the way we perform.
Itâs easy to chase harder sessions, heavier weights or more intensity. But if we never improve the quality behind those movements, weâre often building on an unstable foundation.
To me, quality of movement is about control, awareness and intention.
Itâs learning to move well before moving more.
Whether youâre a fighter, athlete or simply want to stay capable for life, these are the qualities that carry over into everything else.
This is why movement is at the heart of how I coach.
Move well. Perform well. Stay capable.
Movement isnât something we lose. Itâs something we stop paying attention to.
The more we explore how our body balances, rotates, reaches, adapts and transitions, the more intelligent our movement becomes.
Not because weâve memorised more exercises, but because weâve developed a deeper understanding of how we move.
This is what I love to teach.
Helping athletes, fighters and active people build strength, mobility and resilience through movement that has purpose.
Not chasing perfection.
Simply becoming more capable, adaptable and connected to your body, one practice at a time.
Movement intelligence changes the way you train.
And eventually, the way you move through life.
Athleticism isn't something we lose with age. It's something we stop training.
Strength without mobility creates limitations. Mobility without strength creates instability.
True longevity isn't about doing more, it's about remaining capable. It's building a body that can squat, rotate, transition, react and adapt with confidence through every stage of life.
This is why I love Budokon and my Movement Performance Coaching. Every movement challenges strength, mobility, coordination, balance and body awareness simultaneously. It isn't about performing impressive skills, it's about developing the qualities that allow you to keep exploring, training and living fully for decades to come.
Don't just train for your next workout.
Train for the body youâll still want to rely on in 30 years.
