Dear Robins’ Community

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved caretaker, Uncle Basil.

Uncle Basil was so much more than just a caretaker at Robinvale High School. He was a familiar face, a helping hand, and a true pillar of our school community. His presence became part of the very fabric of Robinvale, and his dedication, kindness and willingness to serve will never be forgotten.

Today, we mourn not only the loss of a colleague, but the loss of someone who became a special part of our school family.

Uncle B, You were not just our caretaker — you were a pillar, a protector, and a legend.

Rest peacefully, Uncle Basil. 🕊️

Because Heritage day falls into the school holidays, we decided we are going to celebrate it today.

As South Africa has a rich heritage united with many cultures, languages, traditions and stories, we are a remarkable nation. So today, Robinvale High learners and staff each tell the story of their ancestors.

Yesterday 20 learners participated in the WOW spelling-bee at Saxonsea Primary School.

They did very well and 10 of them will be representing the school in the district competition on the 29th of August.

We are very proud of all of them, especially our 2 winners in Atlantis: Ameerah Abrahams in grade 8 and Zoë Dirks in grade 9.

What a blessed evening we had as the Robins’ community in the presence of the Almighty.

It is such a great feeling to see young people gather on a Friday night to serve the Lord.

We want to thank each and everyone who took time out of the schedule to come and support the evening. A special thanks to everyone who took part on the program, you were a blessing. And another big thank you to our 2 guest speakers, Mrs Jenita Jacobs and Evg. Fabian Solomons for encouraging us with their testimonies. May God continue to bless you.

Are you ready for another night of praise and worship?

Come and join us on 14 August 2026 at 6pm at our School Hall where we will give praises to the most high.

So bring along all your friends (All is welcome).

And while you’re at it, grab a matriculant and bring them along, because there will be a special prayer request for exams, especially grade 12 pre-lims and Finals.

Our soccer boys participated in round 2 of the SAFA CPT- KAY MOTSEPE Cup. We played against Thandokulu High and had a victory of 5-4. On to the next round💪🏻

We are proud of our boys and we are rooting that they bring the cup to us.❤️💙💛
