The Corona pandemic has increased the incidence of anxiety, whether generalised or more specific - such as performance anxiety.
Clinical social worker Morag Scordilis uses case studies to illustrate how young children, teenagers and adults can benefit from BWRT® and why it is a fast, cost-effective solution.
In ep. 7 of the weekly podcast series Calm, Clear & Helpful Morag describes
- what anxiety is, when it plays a vital role and when it becomes overwhelming
- how a child who seems difficult or rude may be experiencing acute anxiety
- how children can be helped to feel at ease during therapy
- the story of Ella* (11), who feared her dance exams
- the story of Madeline*, Ella’s mom, who needed help regarding a lack of self-esteem
- whether a parent or other person can sit in on BWRT® sessions
- Morag’s three best tips on calming ourselves down: easy to use, free, and based on advances in neuroscience.

I was going to wait for World Su***de Prevention Day to post this (which happens to be the 10th September by the way) but guess what, su***de and depression don't wait for an awareness day to make themselves known. For those of us who have been robbed of the chance to make a difference to someone we know, or love, the pain can be eternal. With the latest developments in neuroscience and new therapeutic techniques we are changing the horizons for those dealing with the grief and loss, AND for those who see a perpetual dark hole as a result of trauma, anxiety and depression.
But prevention and early detection is ALWAYS first prize.
Get help, seek help, never be afraid to call a friend.
Take care and be safe.
