’n Groot dankie aan Agulhas Vaardigheidskool vir ’n wonderlike sportdag, en die geleentheid om saam op die sportveld mee te ding.

Dankie vir die sportmanskap, respek en gees wat die dag besonders gemaak het. Sport bou bande, inspireer jongmense en skep kosbare herinneringe.

Baie dankie aan Montagu Hoërskool vir ’n wonderlike skaaktoernooi by Ashton Vocational Academy! ♟️
Dit was ’n voorreg om leerders van beide skole te sien meeding met fokus, entoesiasme en goeie sportmanskap. Sulke geleenthede bou nie net skaakvaardighede nie, maar ook vriendskappe, selfvertroue, respek en sportmanskap.

🇿🇦 ’n Boodskap van Hoop en Verandering | A Message of Hope and Change 🇿🇦

Ons die voorreg gehad om Shewaan Jumat, wyd bekend as “Rich In Mind”, by ons te verwelkom.
Shewaan is ’n prominente Suid-Afrikaanse motiveringspreker en ’n hervormde voormalige bendelid van Heideveld op die Kaapse Vlakte. Hy gebruik sy persoonlike ervaring van bendelewe om leerders te opvoed, rig en bemagtig om weg te bly van gangsterisme, dwelms en die vernietigende gevolge daarvan.
Sy verhaal is ’n kragtige herinnering dat jou verlede nie jou toekoms hoef te bepaal nie. 🌟
Ons waardeer die tyd, wysheid en passie waarmee Shewaan ons leerders toegespreek en geïnspireer het. Ons hoop dat sy boodskap lank ná vandag nog ’n verskil in jong lewens sal maak. 🙏

We had the privilege of welcoming Shewaan Jumat, widely known as “Rich In Mind.”
Shewaan is a prominent South African motivational speaker and a reformed former gang member from Heideveld on the Cape Flats. He uses his personal experiences of gang life to educate, guide and empower young people to stay away from gangsterism, drugs and the destructive impact they can have on their lives.
His story is a powerful reminder that your past does not have to determine your future. 🌟
We are grateful for the time, wisdom and passion he shared with our learners. May his message continue to inspire and make a difference in the lives of our young people. 🙏

Ons vier uitstekende prestasies by die Montagu Eisteddfod 2026!

Met groot trots gelukwens ons Alex Alexander, Tamson Afrika, Bianca Fortuin en Athandiwe Silala met hul puik prestasies tydens vanjaar se Montagu Eisteddfod.

Elke leerder het met selfvertroue, toewyding en entoesiasme deelgeneem en Ashton Vocational Academy op 'n besonderse wyse verteenwoordig. Julle harde werk, deursettingsvermoë en bereidwilligheid om jul talente te ontwikkel, is 'n inspirasie vir ons almal.

Baie dankie aan elke onderwyser, ouer en ondersteuner wat hierdie leerders aangemoedig en ondersteun het. Julle bydrae maak 'n verskil.

'n Opregte Dankie aan Danie en die Span van Indigo Fruit Farming!

Ons wil ons opregte waardering uitspreek aan Danie van Indigo Fruit Farming wat vandag die landbouleerders van Ashton Vocational Academy met soveel entoesiasme ontvang en begelei het.

Die leerders het waardevolle kennis opgedoen oor die rypwordingsproses van sitrus, hoe vrugte ontwikkel, waarna produsente kyk om die regte oesstadium te bepaal, en waarom kwaliteit so belangrik is voordat vrugte die mark bereik.

Sulke praktiese blootstelling maak 'n groot verskil. Dit gee ons leerders die geleentheid om die teorie in die praktyk te sien en wek nuwe belangstelling in die landboubedryf.

Baie dankie, Danie, vir jou tyd, geduld en bereidwilligheid om jou kennis met ons te deel. Ons waardeer dit opreg en sien uit na toekomstige samewerking.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Danie from Indigo Fruit Farming for warmly welcoming and guiding the Agriculture learners from Ashton Vocational Academy.

Our learners gained valuable insight into the fruit ripening process, how citrus develops, the factors used to determine the ideal harvesting stage, and why quality is so important before fruit reaches the market.

Experiences like these bring learning to life. They allow our learners to connect classroom knowledge with real-world agricultural practices while inspiring the next generation of agricultural workers.

Thank you, Danie, for your time, patience, and willingness to share your expertise with our learners. Your investment in their education is truly appreciated, and we look forward to working together again in the future.
