At the GALE Programme, we've dedicated three years to empowering young girls to embrace leadership roles, providing them with the platform to step into the world of activism and allowing them to shape the agenda for vital discussions in their communities. We are thrilled to have hosted a three-day workshop for young women, empowering them to rewrite their stories and prepare for the working world. Together, we delved deep into issues of mental health and emotional development, and these young women showed up ready to take charge of their futures. We can't wait to see all that they achieve! 💪

The GALE young adults' programme revolves around the theme "I am my sister's keeper," which promotes sisterhood and self-discovery, conveying an empowering message. We express our gratitude to the for this incredible opportunity.

We can't contain our excitement for the upcoming three-day journey of the young adults at the Bhambayi Project! Led by the exceptional Thuli Mngadi, this experience promises to be transformational, focusing on both personal and professional development. Our agenda includes exploring themes such as self-image, relationships, and mental health. Stay tuned for more updates!

Thank you to the Bhambayi Project for your continued support and for allowing us to share what we are passionate about with your amazing team and the youth you empower. We are excited to have hosted our first Train the Trainer session with Mngadi and we look forward to our next session.

In an effort of supporting those who were most affected by the floods in the KZN area, we partnered up with Isidima Sethu Community Development , a youth and community organisation we absolutely love. We managed to donate GALE power packs, a toiletry bag packed with all the essentials for women who have been affected. These donations were delivered to Newtown C Community Hall. Thank you to all our partners and donors. We hope to assist more women in our community.

This is how our Power Pack campaign is going so far:
1) We have had a contribution of 35 packs of sanitary towels
2) donations of cash that allowed us to buy toothpaste, soap and deodorant

The GALE Programme would like to invite you in assisting women and girls who now find themselves having to rebuild their lives by providing the bare necessities for them in this difficult time. All donations will go towards providing toiletries to females most affected by this crisis.
