On Wednesday 13 March our UCSA group ended the term with a fun afternoon of dancing and a friendly competition to see who could name all the bible books in the old testement. Congratulations to Phila Zingani who could name them all in the correct order. Well done!!!
Nkosi Sikelela Private School two athletes did very well at the Estern Cape Athletics Championships in Queenstown during this week.
Kayone Maphiri came fourth in the 80m’s for boys U/10. Christal Smith won the Silver medal in the 150m/H for girls U/12.

On Saturday the 24th of February the annual Joe Gqabi athletics meeting took place at Sterkspruit Christian School’s sport fields.
42 of our schools’ top athletes took part against other athletes from all over the district from Venterstad to Mount Fletcher.
Our athletes did very well and we came home with 21 gold medals, 11 silver medals and 7 bronze medals.

The Land Service club of Aliwal North High School and the Alies Interact club invited schools to participate in the Clash of the towers project. We collected non-perishable canned food over the course of term 4.
The school that was able to build the highest tower on 27 October 2023 won.
Congratulations to the following schools:
1st place - ANPS - 2,92m
2nd place - Flamingo Primary - 2,67m
3rd place - Nkosi Primary - 2,35m
4th place - ANHS - 2,29m
We collected a total of 2042 cans.
The cans will be donated to ‘Gift of the givers’ and distributed locally in Aliwal North.
