Fort Hare Gauteng Alumni Chapter

The Fort Hare Gauteng Alumni Chapter is saddened by the news of the murder of Nosicelo Mtebeni, a final year LLB student- East London Campus.

Words cannot begin to express the pain this has caused to the UFH community , the country and especially her parents and family at large including friends and classmates .

The Gauteng Chapter condemns the brutal killing of a young person with a bright future ahead of her. It has brought to an abrupt end a promising life of a young person with a promising future and who was about to make a contribution to the justice systems of our country.

Sincere condolences to the family and May Her Soul Rest in Peace 🙏🏼

Congratulations to our Alumni , Ms Nolitha Fakude on her appointment as the first woman President of the Minerals Council SA- formerly known as the Chamber of Mines.

She is the first woman to hold the position in the 131 years of the organisation's history.
