The EFFSC is a well known paragon of education. It is us, the EFFSC that, that continue to fight for access to education for thousands of our brothers and sisters in this university and tens off thousands more across the country.

We are happy that the UFH has made it into the new academic year of 2021. It was rather unimaginable sometime in 2020 that UFH can successfully finish the 2020 academic year before April of 2021. Therefore, the EFFSC is pleased with the efforts and hardwork of everyone who made it possible for us to be here today.

The EFFSC is however also a paragon of justice and fairness. In that note, we have picked up some unjust and definitely unfair things about the opening of the UFH for the 2021 academic year. These things have a potential to sabotage the careers of our brothers and sisters. These unjust and unfair things include but not limited to the following:
1. There are students who are still blocked and cannot register
2. Students are without data bundles and we all know that data bundles are a prerequisite for the new education system
3. All allowances are not loaded to Students including the critical meal allowance
4. First years are not properly inducted on online learning

With the above real life challenges for the students, the EFFSC propose the following remedies:
1. All Students be unblocked and allowed to register not later than Friday 10 April 2021.
2. Data bundles be loaded to all Students who are both on and off campus.
3. All allowances (prioritizing meal allowance) be loaded to all deserving Students not later than Friday 10 April 2021.
4. All first years be given online learning material and be properly inducted..
5.Ours is clear elections date must be extended to may as to allow all political organizations to campaign free and Fair however we cannot campaign while our students are suffering in terms of Allowances.

6.Open addition and cancelation with immediate effect.
