With 7 years of experience as a Master Spelling Bee pronouncer, Tumiso brings expertise, precision and passion to the stage. We’re honoured 😃 to have him with us as we close off the 2026 Spelling Bee competition this Saturday at the📍 Assemblies of God, Tsutsumani.

Learners from Alex primary schools shine bright at the Read Alex Spelling Bee🐝 📚 ✨

Words are a form expression and what a delightful experience it was to witness young bright sparks 🔥 from five primary schools in Alexandra take up the mic to become top spellers. The contestants confidently pronounced and spelt out words that we use in our daily lives and extraordinary words that make us seek definitions from the dictionary. 🤩 🤞🏿

To all the contestants, we say well done. To the winners in grade 2, 4 and 5, you did great 😌! To the teachers and parents, this is possible because of your encouraging support. 🙏🏾 To the volunteers, thank you for showing up wholeheartedly. To the judges and pronouncer, we appreciate your time and dedication in helping promote literacy in the lives of the children of Alexandra. 👊🏿

We can’t wait to have the Read Alex Spelling Bee second session on Saturday, 29 August with grade 3, 6 and 7. 🤩
