Very satisfied learners recently left our training room happy and confident after successfully completing their training. They spent the entire day learning Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) with an accredited assessor including working at Heights and rescues.

Well done to both for your dedication and commitment to completing the training courses. We wish you all the best as you apply your new knowledge and skills in the workplace. πŸŽ‰πŸ‘

πŸ”₯ KNOW THE RISK. SAVE A LIFE. πŸ”₯
What an absolutely incredible day at Madiba Primary School! 🏫✨
Today, the Akane Training Academy (ATA) team had the privilege of joining forces with Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital for a very special Burn Awareness Day β€” and what a day it was! πŸ’ͺ
We had a hall packed full of the most attentive, engaged and enthusiastic learners you have ever seen. These young Safety Heroes sat forward in their chairs, asked incredible questions and were hungry to learn. Seeing their faces light up as they absorbed life-saving knowledge was something we will never forget. 🌟
Our trainers delivered our β€œKnow the Risk, Save a Life” presentation covering:
πŸͺ£ Water Heating Bucket Safety β€” dangers most families don’t know about
πŸ’¨ LPG Gas Bottle Safety β€” how to store, use and what to do in an emergency
⚑ Electrical Burns β€” dangers in rural areas and overloaded plugs
πŸ”₯ Burn Prevention & Treatment β€” what to do and what NEVER to do
🧯 Fire Extinguisher Demonstration β€” the PASS technique in action
These children are now going home as Safety Ambassadors β€” equipped with the knowledge to protect their families, their siblings and their communities. That is the power of education. That is the power of awareness. πŸ™Œ
A massive thank you to:
πŸ₯ Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital for your incredible support and partnership
🏫 Madiba Primary School for welcoming us with open arms
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ« Our outstanding ATA trainers for delivering world-class training with passion and heart
At Akane Training Academy, we believe that safety education should reach every person β€” from the workplace to the hospital, from the classroom to the home.
Today we reached hundreds of children. Tomorrow, through them, we will reach thousands more. πŸ”₯❀️

Last week our accredited Assessor and CEO from Akane Training Academy had the opportunity to visit Maponya Mall to create awareness about Occupational Health and Safety.

We proudly set up our gazebo and information table to promote safety in the workplace and educate members of the public about the importance of Occupational Health and Safety training. It was a great experience engaging with passers-by, answering questions, and sharing what our company stands for.

At Akane Training Academy, we are passionate about creating safer workplaces through quality training and education. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported us today!

Akane Training Academy Participates in Community Burns Awareness Initiative

Akane Training Academy (ATA) proudly participated in a Burns Awareness Initiative focused on educating the public about burn prevention, emergency response, and the importance of safety awareness in both home and workplace environments.

The initiative brought together healthcare professionals, community stakeholders, and safety advocates to promote practical education aimed at reducing burn-related injuries. As a provider of accredited Occupational Health and Safety training, ATA used the opportunity to demonstrate real-life emergency response procedures and highlight preventative measures that can save lives.

Practical Education That Makes an Impact

During the event, the ATA team showcased:

* Basic burn prevention principles
* Immediate first aid response techniques
* The importance of emergency preparedness
* Fire safety awareness in domestic and workplace settings

Using practical demonstration methods, including simulated emergency scenarios, the team engaged attendees in meaningful discussions around risk identification and prevention.
