Welcome to term 3 of the school year. Southern Wolves Scout group put their hands together, with scouts teaching scouts. Showing their leadership skills with instructing and pioneering.

The Cubs learnt about camping. They eagerly helped each other set up a tent. It was great to see how they assisted each other.

Well done to our Southern Wolves Scout Group

The Southern Wolves scout group wrapped up the term and exams with a laid-back evening of board games and snacks, marking a fitting conclusion. Meanwhile, our Cubs had an enjoyable end-of-term celebration, learning about fire initiation and safety. They proceeded to create a campfire, sing campfire tunes, and indulge in roasted marshmallows. The second term is drawing to a close, and with exams in full swing for many of our troop and cubs, the southern wolves decided to cook up some soup and pizza. This activity provided a great way to unwind. Congratulations are in order for the culinary team; the pizzas were impressive, and the potato and leek soup, with its distinct garlic and herb flavor accompanied by a slight kick, was delightful.

Our container has arrived but it still needs work. Any volunteers who can assist please get hold of Nick or Heath. We will also be needing assistance with bringing the inventory from our storage unit to the container. Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanking you in advance!

In pursuit of their observation badge, Scouts were thoroughly involved in observational activities last week, scrutinizing items and assessing their ability to recall details. They also employed their listening skills to discern various animal sounds and match them with the relevant animal tracks.

Southern Wolves Scout group would like to extend our best wishes to Scouter Splinter on the occasion of his birthday, which fell yesterday. The programme featured an exciting session on sword play, which paid tribute to our scouter's interest and sparked enthusiasm among the scouts. Thank you, Scouter Splinter, for sharing your expertise in sword play with our scouts and making the evening a memorable one. Southern Wolves Scout group
