π©΅πWorld Down Syndrome Day ππ©΅
On Saturday 21 March, we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day. To celebrate this, we invite you to join us in "Rocking your Socks" on Friday 20 March 2026, to create awareness, acceptance and promote inclusion of people with Down Syndrome in society. π©΅ππ𧦠We are more the same, than we are different!π€
Wear your funkiest, most colorful socks and let's start the conversation about acceptance and inclusion. π§¦π€π¨Just because a pair of socks is different, doesn't mean that they can't be worn together, if we just change our attitude. ππππ€ In the same way, let us celebrare that we are more the same than we are different! β¨οΈπ
Why socks? Well, a pair of socks placed heel to heel looks like a pair of chromosomes. And, Down Syndrome the most common chromosomal condition π§¬ππ©΅π§¦
We look forward to "Rocking our Socks", together with you, where ever you might be on Friday, for our learners and all people with Down Syndrome ππ©΅ππ§¬ππ§¦π¨
