Using (a, an, the , some , any )

1. *a* is used with singular countable nouns that begin with a consonant sounds.
تستخدم a مع الأسماء المعدوده المفرده التي تبدأ مع الاصوات الساكنه .
Ex: امثله
1.He is *a* dentist.
2.This is *a* bird.
3.A pilot wears *a* uniform.

2. *an* is used with singular countable nouns that begin with a vowel sound .
تستخدم an مع الاسماء المعدوده المفرده التي تبدا مع الاصوات المتحركه .
Ex:
1. They have *an* experience of teaching Spanish .
2.I have *an* honest friend from Egypt.

3 . *the* with any noun( singular or plural ) when the meaning is specific; for example, when the noun names the only one (or one) of a kind. Adam was the first student (the only 'first student') also with repeated name .
تستخدم the مع اي اسم يكون محدد ويسمي واحد فقط او واحد من ذات النوع وايضا عند تكرار الاسم النكره يتم تعريفه ب the .
Ex:
1.Adam is *the* first student at school.

2.I saw a man in the mall.The man was affected by COVID-19

3.The sun had eclipse last week.

4. *Some* can be used with plural countable nouns and uncountable nouns in positives or questions for (offers or requests)
تستخدم some مع الأسماء المعدوده الجمع او الأسماء غير المعدوده في حالة الاثبات او السؤال ل ( الطلب او العرض )
Ex:
1.I need *some* advice when I leave school.
2.There are *some* pictures on the wall.
3. Can I have *some* books about environment ?request طلب
4. Would you like *some* potato chips? offer عرض

5. *Any* is usually used for plural countable nouns and uncountable nouns in questions and negative statements.
تستخدم any غالبا مع الاسماء المعدوده الجمع او الأسماء غير المعدوده للسؤال او الجمل المنفيه .
Ex: امثله
1.There aren't *any* headlines about health in this newspaper.
2.Is there *any* solution for this math problem ?
