The election for the SNYC Representative was held at SIT on Friday, 24th April.

There were three candidates contesting:

- Shanil Joseph
- Dino Figaro
- Mya Delorie

After the votes were carefully tallied, Ms. Mya Delorie emerged as the winner. She is currently pursuing her studies in National Diploma in the Construction.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Ms. Delorie and wish her every success in representing the learners of SIT.

Today, the Director of SIT formally presented the graduating learners with their official letters confirming that they have been awarded full scholarships to continue their studies abroad.

This significant achievement reflects the learners’ dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence throughout their time at the institution.

The Director congratulated the recipients and encouraged them to remain committed to their goals,and make meaningful contributions to their respective fields and communities in the future.

Seychelles Small Hotels & Establishment Association is the official association representing licensed small accommodation establishments in Seychelles. From intimate holiday home retreats to boutique private villas, SSHEA brings independent operators together under one recognized body.

Today, April 2026, SSHEA officially launched its new website. A demonstration of the platform and its key benefits to the association was presented by Mr. Matthew Pillay - Digital Liaison, and Ms. Josianne Jacques - Vice chair of SSHEA.

On the same occasion, the Seychelles Institute of Technology (SIT), represented by Ms. Mirenda Rose, Human Resource/Administrative Manager, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SSHEA. This partnership aims to create opportunities for more learners to actively participate in SSHEA-led projects and initiatives.
